Waves and Sunlight
Sunlight dances on the coolness of the water
At once intense and blinding, it covers all the surface of the pond.
Then suddenly: gentle, touching lightly, caressing, dancing on the wave tops.
Waves and light dancing, slowly dancing,
Wave tops catching and reflecting the light.
Light running from and dancing with wave tops
Ever Changing.
Yet, not changing.
Which is the light and which is the reflection?
Images/Feelings of you and me dance in the quiet of my mind
At once intense and questioning, blinding, consuming, covering everything
Then suddenly gentle, touching - kissing lightly, rippling like wind in wheat
In Spirit we are dancing, slowly dancing.
Sometimes close, almost too close - searing heat, full contact
Sometimes touching - gently, caressing, dancing
Ever Changing.
Yet not changing.
Which is the light and which is the reflection?
Sometimes the waves reflect the sunlight, obscuring the waters
Other times the light penetrates the waters - illumining the depths
Waves of water and waves of light
Dancing, slowly dancing,
Sometimes bold, then so shy - advancing and retreating
Ever Changing.
Yet not changing.
